This is a review of another recording from Daemon Of Oa which is also in the raw and melodic style of black metal and the album was self released in 2018 and called "Death Initates Life".
Tremolo picking riffs start off the album before going into a very fast and raw musical direction along with some powerful sounding bass guitars while the vocals are mostly grim black metal screams and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts,
Most of the tracks are very long and epic in length while the music is mostly rooted in the 90's European black metal tradition along with the riffs also bringing in a great amount of melody as well as the solos and leads also being done in a very melodic fashion, clean vocals can also be heard briefly and a later track also brings in a small amount of spoken word parts.
Daemon Of Oa creates another recording that is in a very raw, melodic and traditional style of black metal while also showing a great amount of progress as a musician, the production sounds very powerful for being a self released recording while the lyrics cover Occultism, Darkness and Death themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Daemon Of Oa and if you are s fan of raw and melodic black metal, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Borderline Of Hellfire's Dominion" "Raise The Dead" and "My Vengeance". 8/2 out of 10.
